According to a posting on the unofficial DEEP PURPLE web site The Highway Star, the band's guitarist Steve Morse will hold a guitar clinic in Bocholt on November 13 before the PURPLE show in Oberhausen, Germany. He will present his Music Man signature guitar. The clinic will be at the Alte Molkerei and will start at 16:00 (doors open at 15:00). Entrance is free, but interested parties are advised to make reservations by e-mailing Jochen Methling at Jochen.Methling@mail.bocholt.de.
Morse is one of the musicians featured on the "We Wish You A Metal Christmas and a Headbanging New Year" album, due in the U.S. on October 14 via Amoury Records and Black Ion Music. The CD features hard rock and heavy metal's finest giving their own unique twist to Christmas classics old and new.
